Centinel Bank and UNM-Taos Internship and Scholarship Program 

The Centinel Bank and UNM-Taos Internship and Scholarship Program creates opportunities for students through education and hands on training. Centinel Bank provides scholarships and paid internship opportunities for selected UNM-Taos student(s) who are studying in the areas of accounting, business, customer service, and information technology. The selected student(s) earn academic credit and gain professional skills while completing job responsibilities and through Centinel Bank mentorships - Learn more here.  

Centinel Bank Part-Time Student Work *Due to COVID-19 this program has been temporarily suspended. 

Centinel Bank is dedicated to investing in the future of our community. Through our high school student, part-time work program we aim to provide opportunities for local youth to gain professional work experiences while exploring careers in community banking. 

Who should apply
  • Students seeking a professional learning/working environment
  • Entering sophomores or juniors in high school
  • Students who would be available to work summers, school breaks, one Saturday per month, and a minimum of three after-school afternoons during the academic year
How to apply  
  • Submit completed employment application with an unofficial copy of transcripts, showing student's academic record beginning in 9th grade.
